So I presented an informative speech over Doctor Who today.
The first thing I said was, “Don’t blink. Don’t even blink. Blink and you’re dead. Don’t turn your back, don’t look away, and DON’T BLINK!” And ended with, “Oh, and remember, DON’T BLINK.” I blame Steven Moffat. Just saying.
Do you know why the Sherlock fandom ships John/Sherlock? They're not paid or anything. They like it. They get off on it. The more intricate the fanfic the more they get off and do you know what? One day just writing fics and drawing fanart won't be enough. One day we'll be standing round Cumberbatch and Freeman superglued together in compromising positions and the Sherlock fandom will be the one who put them there.
Of course it’s not dead, they won’t stop until they’ve pushed the public too far and Tyler Durden becomes a real person. It makes me wonder if the public outcry had been expected, and now that everyone feels grand for winning the First Internet War they can slide their new policies right under the hype of victory. The number of notes in this post is a clear example of that.
WHY?!?!?!?!? WHY DO THEY HATE US?!?!?!?!? And something I just thought of: America doesn’t own the internet! Why should we get to decide what goes on the web? If anything is going to happen to the internet, I think that if anything the U.N. should talk about it and vote and such. Stupid America and trying to regulate the entire world!
